Here are the best tutors in Denmark

Del artikel:

Every year, DM awards the Tutor Prize to support a positive study environment and to recognize the tutors who make an extraordinary effort to help new students settle into their studies.

How do I find the right study group? What are ECTS credits? What does it mean when a lecture is 'mandatory'? And is there really a party on campus every Friday? As a new student, you may have many questions, and starting your new academic life can feel overwhelming.

Fortunately, the tutor groups are here to help new students get off to a great start with their education. To recognize the important work of tutors, DM awards the Tutor Prize each year to those tutors who make a special difference. With the Tutor Prize, we give a well-deserved recognition to the many dedicated tutors who go the extra mile to provide new students with a fun and supportive start to their studies.

Denmark's Best Tutors 2024

Once again, the pool of nominees for the Tutor Prize 2024 has been strong, but out of the nominations from the students, there was one tutor group that particularly stood out for providing an exceptional start to the academic year. Therefore, in 2024, the tutor group from the Educational Sciences program at Aarhus University was honored with confetti and crowned the winners of the Tutor Prize 2024.

The Tutor Prize was awarded for the 16th time in 2024 and is a recognition of the tutors' significant efforts in ensuring that new students have a start to their studies that is not only good but also fun and supportive. As part of the prize, the winners also receive a sum of 10,000 DKK for a social event.

The reason the Educational Sciences Tutors at AU Won

Anna Ockelmann, the chair of DM Students, explains why the Educational Sciences tutor group was chosen as the winner of this year’s Tutor Prize:

“The tutors from Educational Sciences at AU deserve to win the Tutor Prize 2024 because they have been welcoming and dedicated, creating an inclusive environment where everyone felt at home. They organized a wide variety of events for the freshmen and helped build a strong social foundation. They also made a real effort to encourage students to get involved in student associations and university life, which further strengthens the sense of community.”
