Villum Fonden støtter 52 nyskabende forskningsprojekter

Villum Fonden har uddelt støtte til 52 modige og nyskabende forskningsprojekter gennem Villum Experiment-programmet.

Projekterne spænder bredt og omfatter alt fra gennemsigtige bananfluer og betydningen af babygråd til mikroplastnedbrydning og undersøgelser af, hvorfor flåter bider nogle mennesker mere end andre. Støtten gives på baggrund af idéens originalitet og potentiale, vurderet anonymt, så nysgerrighed og mod får lov at dominere.

Villum Experiment-programmet er designet til at støtte forskere, der tør tænke uden for boksen og tage chancer med deres forskning. Ved at vurdere ansøgningerne anonymt sikrer programmet, at det er idéens kvalitet og potentiale, der er i fokus, og ikke forskerens baggrund eller tidligere meritter.

Med denne uddeling fortsætter Villum Fonden sin tradition for at støtte banebrydende forskning og fremme videnskabelig nysgerrighed og innovation. De 52 projekter, der nu modtager støtte, repræsenterer en bred vifte af discipliner og tilgange, og de har alle potentiale til at skabe nye indsigter og løsninger på komplekse problemer.
