How to best communicate that you’re a good match for the position
Writing an effective job application that gets you to a job interview is demanding and requires thoroughness and insight. By presenting yourself and your skills in a targeted way, in relation to the tasks and responsibilities of the job, you make it easy for the employer to see that you’re a match.
In this course, we'll cover
- The communication situation for your CV and application: How does the employer read your materials, and what demands does this place on them?
- The unwritten rules and requirements for the two formats: How many pages should your materials be, and what should they look like?
- Professional match: How can you highlight how your skills and experience match what the employer is looking for.
- Motivation and targeting: Why it’s important to motivate and tailor your application.
Practical Details
This webinar requires minimal effort from your side but provides maximum value with updated knowledge and the best tools for your job search.
The webinar lasts 30 minutes, during which you will receive a professional presentation without the requirement to have your camera on or actively participate in the chat. Following that, there will be 20 minutes of Q&A, where you can choose whether to be active, just listen, or sign off.

The primary target group is you, if you're struggling with the format and requirements of the materials for your job hunt.
Who will you meet
The webinar is facilitated by career consultant Louise Anker Persson, who holds a degree in Cand.merc.psyk and has extensive experience in recruitment and advising on job searches and career development.
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend, please deregister via MitDM as soon as possible, and no later than the day before the event. This is in consideration of our planning and to make it possible for others to participate in your place.

The webinar is hosted on Zoom. As a participant, you will receive a link and password to the webinar via the mail address, you have registered with DM.
Recording of webinar
As a general rule, DM has chosen not to record all online events. This is due to several and often different reasons: The speaker or educator owns the rights to their presentation, to secure DM’s compliance with the Personal Data Act, and the prioritization of the close and familiar experience at DM’s events, whether they are held online or in person.
On occasion, we are permitted to record an event, which will be available to the participants for a short time afterwards at Mit DM.
